Various stakeholders have visited the pavilion of the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) at the 2026 Nanenane International Agricultural Exhibition, currently taking place at the Dr. John Samuel Malecela Grounds in Nzuguni, Dodoma.
The exhibition officially commenced on August 1, 2026, and was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba.
The theme for the 2026 Nanenane Exhibition is "Know Your Market; Increase Productivity to Achieve Vision 2050."The theme highlights the importance of equipping Tanzanians, particularly young people, with the knowledge and skills needed to boost productivity and drive sustainable national development.
In support of the implementation of Tanzania's Development Vision 2050, NACTVET continues to register colleges, assure the quality of technical and vocational education, and regulate institutions offering technical and vocational training.
This includes colleges that provide agriculture and livestock programmes, as well as vocational secondary schools specializing in these fields.
Through these institutions, young people acquire practical knowledge and skills that enable them to improve productivity, become self-employed, secure employment, and contribute to the growth of the agriculture and livestock sectors, which are key pillars of Tanzania's economy.
The public is encouraged to visit the NACTVET pavilion to learn more about the opportunities available in technical and vocational education and training, and how these programmes are helping to build a skilled workforce for the nation's sustainable development.
