RC SENYAMULE URGES DODOMA LEADERS TO PRIORITIZE QUALITY PUBLIC SERVICE DELIVERY

BY OUR CORRESPONDENT - DODOMA

Dodoma Regional Commissioner Rosemary Senyamule has called on regional leaders to embrace innovation, professionalism and accountability in public service, stressing the need to develop practical solutions to citizens’ challenges and improve service delivery.

Senyamule made the call on October 8, 2026, while chairing a working session attended by District Commissioners, District Administrative Secretaries, Council Directors and members of the Regional Secretariat. The meeting was held at the Dodoma Regional Commissioner’s Office Conference Hall.

She emphasized that leaders must recognize their responsibility to serve the public, effectively supervise staff under their authority and ensure that public duties are carried out in accordance with the principles of good governance, while maintaining peace and stability in their respective areas.

The Regional Commissioner also urged leaders to strengthen their engagement with citizens by demonstrating compassion, commitment and a genuine willingness to serve. She stressed that everyone visiting a public office should be welcomed respectfully, listened to attentively and provided with appropriate assistance.

“Citizens need to see a smile on the faces of their leaders, as this reflects care, approachability and a willingness to serve them,” Senyamule said.

She further encouraged leaders to embrace innovation in the execution of their duties by generating new ideas and implementing practical measures to address citizens’ challenges, accelerate development and improve the quality of public services.

On Dodoma Region’s development priorities, Senyamule underscored the importance of strengthening efforts in education, health, environmental protection, economic development, agriculture, industry and mining to stimulate regional growth and improve citizens’ welfare.

She concluded by urging leaders to ensure that their work delivers tangible, measurable and meaningful results for the public.

Senyamule emphasized that effective leadership should be measured not merely by the execution of official duties, but also by the quality of services provided and the positive changes those services bring to people’s lives.
