Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Dr. Ngwaru Maghembe, has received Copies of Credentials from the Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Namibia to Tanzania, Mr. Gabriel Sinimbo, during a ceremony held at the Ministry’s Headquarters in Dodoma on Tuesday.
In their discussions, Dr. Maghembe congratulated Mr. Sinimbo on his appointment and assured him of the Ministry’s and Government’s full cooperation as he embarks on his diplomatic duties in Tanzania.
Dr. Maghembe emphasized that Tanzania values its longstanding historical ties with Namibia and stands ready to strengthen bilateral collaboration in various sectors for the mutual benefit of both nations.
For his part, Ambassador-Designate Sinimbo expressed gratitude for the warm reception accorded to him. He reaffirmed Namibia’s commitment to enhancing the strong relationship between the two countries, noting that his Government looks forward to deepening cooperation in areas of shared interest.
The presentation of Copies of Credentials marks the formal commencement of Mr. Sinimbo’s diplomatic mission in Tanzania.
