Simiyu Resident Mines Officer, Geologist Makolobela Mayigi, has urged stakeholders to make greater use of available communication and engagement platforms to increase Tanzanians’ participation in the mineral sector.
Geologist Mayigi made the call after visiting the Ministry of Minerals Pavilion at the 9th National Mineral Technology and Investment Exhibition at the Dkt. He encouraged stakeholders to use various platforms to raise awareness of opportunities available across the sector and enable more Tanzanians to participate and benefit from the country’s mineral resources.
The Mining Commission is inviting investors, miners, mineral traders and members of the public to visit its pavilion at the exhibition, which is running from 23 September to 3 October 2026.
Visitors have an opportunity to engage with Mining Commission experts and learn about mineral exploration, mining, processing, trading, investment opportunities and modern mining technologies.
A key attraction at the Commission’s pavilion is its Mineral Laboratory, which showcases modern mineral testing and analysis technologies, including X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF).
The exhibition provides a platform for stakeholders and members of the public to access information, interact with experts and explore opportunities and services available in Tanzania’s mineral sector before the exhibition concludes on 3 October 2026.
