Wellworth Collection, a hospitality and tourism company, has used the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair, popularly known as Sabasaba, to promote domestic tourism while expanding its investments in preparation for opportunities expected during AFCON 2027.
Speaking at the pavilion of the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB), the company’s Sales Officer, Sharmila Omari, said Wellworth Collection is encouraging Tanzanians to visit the country’s tourism attractions through its hotels, lodges and camps located in different parts of the country.
She said the company currently manages five five-star lodges, four luxury camps and two resorts, including one in Zanzibar, while another resort is nearing completion in Dar es Salaam.
According to Sharmila, the company is also promoting Mikumi as a key destination for domestic tourists, noting that improved transport infrastructure, including the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), is making travel easier for visitors.
During the trade fair, Wellworth Collection is offering special accommodation packages starting from Sh762,000 for two people, inclusive of meals.
Sharmila added that the company also owns Kunduchi Wet 'N' Wild and has continued to develop packages that combine wildlife safaris with beach holidays.
She said Wellworth Collection is building new lodges and camps in different parts of Tanzania to increase its capacity to accommodate the expected influx of visitors during AFCON 2027.
“We are preparing to receive more visitors ahead of AFCON 2027. We encourage Tanzanians and international guests to book early and take advantage of the available offers,” Sharmila said.
