The Head of the Trade, Industry and Investment Division from Arusha City, John Kilunge, has visited the Dodoma City Council pavilion at the ongoing 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair and commended the rapid growth of trade and investment activities in the city.
During his visit, Kilunge received information on the various services offered by the Dodoma City Council, as well as available investment opportunities, particularly in land, trade and the development of economic infrastructure.
Speaking after touring the pavilion, Kilunge said Dodoma City has continued to record significant progress in improving the business environment and attracting investors through its development plans and the expansion of public services.
“Dodoma is showing a positive direction in the growth of trade and investment. It is a rapidly growing city with numerous opportunities for businesspeople and investors,” Kilunge said.
In another development, Dodoma City Trade Officer Ruth Kingu said the trade fair has provided an important platform for promoting the city’s potential in trade, investment and service delivery, while also helping to build partnerships with stakeholders from different parts of the country.
Meanwhile, a resident of Kahama, Kisumu Nyamtela, who visited the pavilion, said the city’s participation in the Sabasaba Trade Fair aims to promote services provided by the council and the various investment opportunities available.
“I now feel compelled to visit Dodoma and see how much it has changed. You are promoting yourselves very well,” Nyamtela said.
Dodoma City Council is participating in the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair to showcase investment opportunities, land services, development projects and economic attractions available in the city.
