The Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Hon. Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo (MP), has continued to hold meetings with key leaders and stakeholders aimed at promoting and strengthening relations between Tanzania and the United States.
Among the leaders he met was Hon. Dr. Ronny L. Jackson, a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives and of the Subcommittee on Africa.
During the discussions, Hon. Dr. Jackson informed the Minister that he has previously visited Tanzania and was impressed by the country’s natural beauty. He further expressed his intention to consider leading a delegation of fellow Members of Congress to visit Tanzania again in 2026, following an invitation extended by Minister Kombo.
Minister Kombo continues to receive warm and positive receptions in the United States as he carries on with his official working visit to the country.
