Minister for Minerals, Anthony Mavunde, will officiate at the Fifth Local Content Compliance Forum (LCCF 2026), which will be held from July 22 to 24 at the Malaika Beach Resort in Mwanza, bringing together key stakeholders to promote greater participation of Tanzanians in the country’s mining sector.
The three day forum, organised by the Mining Commission, is expected to attract mining companies, mine service providers, mineral traders, government institutions, investors and members of the public interested in opportunities within the mining industry.
According to the Mining Commission, the forum will focus on strengthening local content implementation by providing participants with technical presentations, panel discussions, training sessions and exhibitions designed to enhance the participation of Tanzanians in economic activities generated by the mining sector.
The event will also provide a platform for stakeholders to establish business partnerships, exchange experiences, explore investment opportunities and discuss strategies for improving compliance with local content policies and regulations.
Proceedings will begin at 8.00 a.m. each day and will include technical sessions, exhibitions and business-to-business engagements aimed at fostering collaboration and expanding commercial opportunities across the mining value chain.
